Low Disturbance Loosener (LDL)

Machine Features

The LDL has been designed from carefully listening to farmers throughout the past year who are Direct Drilling or practising Min-Till and are experiencing compaction at depths of 6"- 8". The machine is a Low Disturbance Loosener and will be used to lift at full width at depths of up to 12". It will be used primarily to loosen the soil structure straight after combining and removing the compaction pan. It has become apparent that farmers are now starting to experience poor crop establishment and growth due to the compaction generated from machinery traffic, rain fall etc. We have also added the option of easily converting the machine to become a Track Eradicator that can be specifically used to straddle tramlines for loosening purposes.

The machine offers the versatility in loosening at full width with a packer of choice to enable a level weather proof finish for drilling at a later date. The machine can also be used as a Wheel Track Eradicator to loosen in between and each side of tramlines. This can be done by simply moving the legs to the desired width with the plates that are already om the machine.
