Close Coupled Toolbar

The Close Coupled TE is designed to be used as a wheel eradicator but can also be used with 3 point link mounted machines and PTO driven machines such as power harrows. This machine comes with an ‘A’ frame that enables the farmer to trail machines and still preserve the towing height by hydraulically floating the rear rams and having a pre-set upwards linkage height. This allows the machine tines to be fully out of work whilst still towing the rear implement at its desired towing height.

The Close Coupled Track Eradicator has been designed for farmers running heavy equipment and struggling with tractor wheelings compacting the soil. The machine has Grange Machinery Low Disturbance legs that are used to lift compacted wheelings up to 12". The machine is used to alleviate the compaction and wheelings that the tractors have generated whilst improving the soil structure.  It has become apparent that farmers are now starting to experience poor crop establishment and growth due to the compaction generated from machinery traffic. The Close Coupled can be used in front of trailed or mounted implements up to 6 metre widths, and can also be used on its own to rip up compacted tramlines. The machine has the option to accommodate PTO driven machines providing greater versatility of one machine. We are seeing the machine being used to trail drills and cultivators but also mounted to combination drills to provide loosening within the system.
