Who we are

Who We Are

Grange Machinery Ltd is a British agricultural machinery manufacturer specialising in low disturbance cultivation, loosening, and precision seeding equipment.

Founded on a passion for soil health and sustainable farming, we design and manufacture every machine at our facility in East Yorkshire — built to perform in the toughest British conditions.

From the 4m LDL to the 6m Strip-Till Preparator, our range is trusted by farmers across the UK and beyond to deliver consistent results season after season.

"Engineering that works with your soil, not against it."

How it started

Our Story

East Yorkshire, UK

Grange Machinery was born from a simple belief: that the way we cultivate the soil matters. Compaction, over-tillage, and soil degradation are challenges every arable farmer faces — and we set out to engineer solutions that address them head-on.

Starting with the Low Disturbance Loosener, we developed a range of implements that work with the soil rather than against it. Each machine is designed to minimise disturbance, preserve soil structure, and reduce the cost of establishment.

Today, over 1,000 Grange machines are working fields across the UK and internationally — a testament to the trust farmers place in our engineering and our team.

What drives us

Our Values

01

Soil Health First

Every design decision starts with the question: what does this do to the soil? We engineer for minimal disturbance and maximum biological activity.

02

UK Manufactured

Every machine leaves our East Yorkshire facility. British engineering, British steel, built to last in British conditions.

03

Farmer-Led Design

We work directly with farmers to refine our machines. Real-world feedback shapes every iteration of our range.

04

Global Reach

From the UK to international markets, Grange machines are trusted by farmers who demand performance and reliability.
